Liquid-Tight Strain Relief

Liquid-Tight Strain Relief The Liquid-Tight Strain Relief is a mechanical cable gland engineered to provide a robust environmental seal and structural strain relief at the point where electrical power cables enter a fixture housing. The integrated rubber compression gland uniformly constricts around the wire jacket as the external dome nut is tightened, creating a definitive, watertight, and dustproof barrier. Manufactured from industrial-grade polymer, this component resists environmental degradation while effectively isolating the cable jacket from sharp chassis edges. Designer’s

Designer’s Note

Installation Best Practices Specify this component for all outdoor or high-moisture installations to prevent water ingress into sensitive electrical enclosures. Before installation, you must verify that your cable's outer diameter falls strictly within the specified clamping range of the gland. Exercise precision when tightening the dome nut; over-tightening can crush the internal cable insulation, while under-tightening will compromise the seal integrity. Do not utilize this part with flat cables, as the circular internal gland cannot form a complete mechanical seal around non-round geometries. Quick Specs
