Channel Termination Integration (End Caps)

LED Extrusion End Cap
The LED Extrusion End Cap is a structural termination component engineered to seal the open profiles of linear aluminum extrusions. This cap fits precisely into the extrusion channel to prevent dust ingress and protect internal diode circuitry from physical damage. It is available in solid-faced configurations for a clean finish or wire pass-through variants to facilitate the routing of primary power leads. Each unit is molded from high-durability, thermal-resistant polymer capable of maintaining structural integrity under the continuous operating temperatures generated by high-density LED tape.
Designer’s Note: Installation Best Practices
Always specify the end cap variant mapped to your exact extrusion profile, such as the LO-002X-1 or LO-TRACK-AM series. Mismatched components will fail to seat correctly and are prone to dislodging due to the thermal expansion and contraction cycles of the aluminum housing. When utilizing the wire pass-through variant, route your power leads through the aperture before completing final solder connections to the LED tape. For installations in high-moisture environments, apply a bead of non-corrosive, electronic-grade silicone around the inner perimeter before pressing the cap into the track to ensure a reliable seal.
