5-Inch Square Architectural Canopy The 5-Inch Square Architectural Canopy is a low profile ceiling interface engineered for aircraft cable suspended LED lighting systems. Featuring a clean linear geometry with a total height of exactly 0.25 inches, this canopy minimizes visual impact at the mounting plane while providing a rigid for suspended pendant and linear fixtures. It is available in two distinct configurations: a single center hole (3/8 inch diameter) for strictly mechanical cable suspension, or a dual hole variant featuring an offset 5/8 inch aperture for parallel low voltage power routing. The 5 inch square footprint provides robust coverage for standard architectural junction boxes while cleanly concealing internal structural hardware and wiring splices. Designer’s Note Specify the dual hole configuration only if you intend to run power parallel to your suspension cable at the exact same ceiling coordinate. You must ensure your electrical pass through wiring does not exceed the 5/8 inch diameter limit of the secondary aperture. The linear aesthetic of the 5 inch square profile provides excellent surface area to completely cover standard 4 inch square or octagonal ceiling junction boxes, allowing adequate volume for localized wire connections and mechanical strain relief.
