The TC3 15/16 T-Bar Twist Clip is a rigid stamped metal suspension component engineered for immediate integration with standard 15/16 inch flat acoustical ceiling grids. The contoured S-shaped profile permits rapid, tool-less installation via a direct mechanical twist and lock action. Once engaged, the dual flanges grip the T-bar securely to provide a stable, non destructive anchor point for lighting fixtures. This clip features a specialized central hub with a splined threaded receiver, delivering a highly secure, anti rotational mounting interface for standard threaded studs. Constructed from zinc plated steel, this clip ensures reliable vertical load support and entirely eliminates the need for field drilling.

Designer’s Note

Specify this clip strictly for standard 15/16 inch flat grid systems. It is mechanically incompatible with 9/16 inch narrow grids or slotted architectural profiles. To install, position the clip diagonally against the T-bar face and rotate 90 degrees until both outer flanges lock securely over the grid edges. Always calculate your total suspended fixture weight to ensure it remains well within the structural limit of the drop ceiling framework itself. When installing your suspension hardware into the splined central hub, verify full thread engagement to maximize mechanical pull out strength.
