A mechanical strain relief component designed to fit seamlessly into standard 5 inch canopies. It clamps the power cord securely to prevent downward pulling forces from transmitting to the internal electrical connections. Rated for standard ambient thermal operating conditions.

Designer's Note: Slide this part onto your power cord before making final electrical connections. Secure it tight against the canopy interior wall. This simple part prevents dangerous electrical shorts caused by unsupported wire weight over time.
